About Black Sheep Alliance
Black Sheep Alliance is a nonprofit organization founded by people with experience in human rights and LGBTQ+ rights work. We bring that experience to initiatives that connect people, support communities and place safety and dignity at the center.
Safety-led events
We organize nonprofit team meetings, training, conferences and festivals, with participant safety, confidentiality and careful planning at every stage.
RE:WEAR LAB
We are preparing a circular fashion lab that connects upcycling, paid learning for immigrants and newcomers, and an inclusive creative community.
Interactive novels
We create interactive stories about human rights. Our featured visual novel, Sky Over Samara, is nearly complete, with launch planned for December 2026.
The experience behind the organization
Our team’s experience predates Black Sheep Alliance. It includes human rights and LGBTQ+ rights work in Russia, including the North Caucasus and Chechnya, and the creation of safer spaces and events in high-risk environments. We apply those lessons to careful preparation, participant protection and respectful collaboration.
